HOW IT'S CREATED
Each duct tape work you see below is handcrafted with thousands of tiny pieces of duct tape arranged to create a pointillistic, tactile, beautiful whole. A single piece of duct tape art can take 100+ hours to create! Each work is then coated with a sealant to prevent elemental damage and wear. You have to touch it to believe it!
“Kings of Late Night” is my latest work, hanging at The BOB in Grand Rapids. It consists of over 200,000 pieces of duct tape, and is over 14 feet in length! It features (from left to right) Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Stephen Colbert, and Jon Stewart. See what the media is saying about it below:
